We currently have two trainers that specialize in cardio training. Running, swimming and biking. They work together as a team and share similar running and training ideologies.
Ian is an NCCP Certified Triathlon Coach as well as an NCCP Certified Swim coach. His focus is on technique and form with all types of
drills including cadence drills, speed work, and longer ‘tempo’ style repeats. His stretching and exercises are running based to strengthen and balance the body in order to prevent injuries. He stresses the importance of form as well as fitness level for improved performance.
His swim focus is in Freestyle (front crawl) improvement for Triathletes. All skill levels are accommodated. You do need to be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool nonstop and not drown.
Ian has been personal training for more than 10 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is certified by ACE. He is an avid runner from 5k to Marathons, Triathlons and has completed 4 Ironman’s.
