Personal Training - Each session is one hour long. Equipment can be provided if you do not have any. Your trainer will take into account your goals and injuries when planning your work outs. As you advance they will continue to change your program in order to challenge you and help you get the results you are looking in a safe environment. Form and technique will always be an important factor in your training program. A trainer helps to motivate you and keep you accountable. They help get you through weight loss plateaus and help you achieve your personal goals.
Yoga and Pilates - Ashtanga and Kripula Yoga as well as Stott Pilates certified instructors are available for private and group training sessions. Instructors can teach in a board room or anywhere in your home or condo. The more friends or co-workers in your class the less each of you pays.
Program Design - If you want to train on your own without a trainer a program can be tailored to your specific needs and goals. The trainer will speak to you to find out exactly how often you can train, what equipment is available to you, your exercise history, needs, goals, injuries and more. They will design a program for you and show you how to do every exercise in your program.
Nutrition Counseling - A trainer will sit down with you and look at your food log. This will tell them about your habits, likes, dislikes, scheduling and knowledge of nutrition. From there they will be able to teach you what you need to know and help you build good habits over time. Nutrition is about balance. It has to be something you can maintain for the rest of your life so must take into account all foods, social events and dinners out.
Weekly Food Log - Each week you will write down when you woke up and went to sleep, what and when you ate, when you did any activity and how you felt during those times of day. After reviewing your food log changes and ideas will be made taking into account food likes and dislikes, dietary restrictions, your lifestyle, cooking abilities, quick and easy recipes and more.
Grocery Store Venture - This starts in your kitchen where we go through your cupboards and I will teach you how to read your food labels. Together we will go to the grocery store and you will learn how to make smarter educated choices.
