Why a Trainer?

Why a Trainer?

A trainer helps to motivate and guide you while teaching proper form and technique. As a result you will achieve your goals faster and understand how to train on your own to maximize your time working out.

Why an in home trainer?

Hiring a trainer that comes right to your door eliminates the cost of gym fees. No more travel time. No more crowded, sweaty gyms. You can shower and get ready in the privacy of your own home.

Why can’t my friend help me?

A personal trainer who is highly certified is an expert in their field. You can rely on them to be on top of all the latest research and teach you proper form and technique, without the risk of injury.  Your friend may have worked with a trainer and feels they can show you what to do. Every person is different in their goals, injuries, how their body reacts to weights, nutrition and cardio. A trainer takes all of this into account. Friends are great gym buddies, not usually the safest trainer.

Can I just get a program made and do it on my own?

You can, but there are some things you will want to consider first before taking this approach. You will need a certain level of knowledge of form and technique, be self motivating, and injury free or already know how to train your injuries. The results will be slower this way as a trainer is not there to monitor your progress and adjust your program as you advance or watch your form and technique to make sure you are not going to inure yourself. Having a trainer once a week as well as doing a program that they designed for you to do on your own will get you quicker and safer results.

Can personal trainers teach me about nutrition?

Yes, if the trainer is a certified nutrition councilor. See nutrition for more information.
