Contact Karla

Karla works as a professional dancer, choreographer, actor, and singer.  She has worked in many theatres across the country from the Stratford Festival to the Princess of Wales.

After exploring different forms of therapy for several dance related injuries, she turned to yoga and has never looked back.  A graduate of the Downward Dog Teacher Training Program, Karla has been practicing Ashtanga yoga for ten years.  She enjoys teaching and guiding people through yoga  practice and believes that through yoga people can heal in many ways; emotionally, physically, and mentally.  Karla’s extensive background in dance offers a unique perspective towards yoga. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and her approach is intelligent and fun.  She is also trained in pre and post natal yoga.

Karla is available downtown Toronto, the Beaches and along the Danforth.

Contact Juliet

Juliet came late to yoga, and she appreciates it all the more for that! From her training and the experience of her own body, she understands the special needs of mid-life, in addition to being able to offer classes that challenge and inspire those of all ages and body types. Her sense of humour and love of teaching bring ease and fun to her classes at the Granite Club and Vital Steps Fitness.

Juliet's Kripalu Yoga 250 hour Intensive Teacher Training gave her a good grounding in physiology, anatomy and principles of movement, as well as a passion to share the health benefits of yoga. Her classes and private sessions are accessible but challenging. Working with a client's individual strengths and needs, she designs unique but simple sequences that can be practiced between sessions, and then adds depth and challenge along the way. Whether you are looking to handle stress, prevent osteoporosis, or experience the benefits of a good overall workout, Juliet can apply her trademark enthusiasm and inspiration to helping you achieve your goals.

Juliet is constantly broadening her skills, continuing her professional level training at Kripalu as well as exploring the Anusara, Ananda and Moksha yoga styles. She has trained in pre-natal yoga, breathing techniques for optimum performance, advanced postures, and the integration of yoga principles into daily life. She gives regular yoga workshops and especially enjoys helping beginners find joy and competence in their own bodies.

Juliet serves the North Toronto and Downtown areas.
